The Banks Power 25987 Red Techni-Cooler Intercooler System will increase air flow and boost air density in your 2013-2018 RAM 2500/3500 6.7L Diesel. It has mandrel-bent high-flow boost tubes, huge, high-efficiency all-aluminum end tanks, a wide-open inlet and exit, and a thicker core with increased capacity. I have owned 5 Dodge Rams in 13 years and have modified them all. This is the first and unfortunately last time i use banks. I was extremely excited for this and I also installed their cold air intake at the same time. I reviewed that as well. This was extremely painful to install. Not necessarily because of Banks, but because my 2016 Ram is built by elves with tiny hands. It is a huge pain to get tools and your hands into the places needed to remove and then install this intercooler. There is no room to begin with and then this kit makes everything a lot bigger. The difficult side of this from Banks it they give you boots that are the exact size needed only. There is no room for error or play. This install job took me almost 6 hours due to the tight tolerances on the product and space withing the truck. My arms were bruised up from smashing myself into these little spaces. Unfortunately I have seen NO increase in drive ability or fuel economy from this. Keep in mind the rest of my truck is stock for now. Its allot of money for no improvement. The quality is great on the product though. It does weigh a ton and installing this by yourself will require a considerable amount of profanity to get the job done.
