Banks Power 48779 4" Cat-Back Monster Sport Exhaust System

When I bought my truck, the tailpipe had rusted and broke off right above the axle so an exhaust was needed. After some searching around for a not too loud but well rounded sounding exhaust, I decided on this one. The hardest part was heating and beating my old exhaust off (midwest rust is unreal) and the fact it was dark out when I did this job. It sounds a lot better, maybe a lil bit louder, but has a more rounded tone to it. At around 2k rpm (I'm guessing as my tach doesn't work) there's a good drone when you accelerate but it's not there during highway speeds, which is good as some people don't like the drone and I don't mind it. It also looks a lot better, might even spring for a 5 or 6 inch tip at a later date as I'm just running it straight 4" with no tip like stock.

The engineers at Banks really nailed this. No issues whatsoever in the install process. Had it installed in 20 minutes in my driveway. Hardest part was removing the old exhaust. Was worried about how loud it was going to be but its quieter than the stock system was. For the price this is probably the best exhaust out in my opinion.
