Description
The 4" Cat-Back Monster exhaust system flows up to 122% better than stock and virtually eliminates back-pressure. Banks streamlined 4" intermediate pipe(s) and tailpipe are formed of stainless, heavy-wall tubing with constant-diameter bends to maximize airflow and lower exhaust gas temps.
Banks replaces the factory's restrictive muffler with a polished-stainless Monster muffler featuring a straight-through 4"-diameter path that flows up to 129% better than stock. The Banks-designed expansion chamber dissipates the annoying mid-range exhaust drone that accompanies most straight-through mufflers. Monster muffler utilizes spun ceramic, very-high-temperature packing and delivers an authoritativebut never intrusiveexhaust sound. A huge 5" polished-stainless steel tailpipe tip sports a rolled edge. Double-walled design with 1/2" air gap keeps heat from tarnishing the exterior mirror finish. Adjustable clamp for positioning on tailpipe.

I've finally got the first round of upgrades installed on my 2006 Dodge Ram 2500 Mega Cab Laramie (5.9 Cummins, 4x4, 48RE automatic transmission, 3.73 gears). I went with the Banks Ram-Air Intake System, Banks Single Monster Exhaust System, Bully Dog Triple Dog Power Pup Downloader & Outlook Monitor, Bully Dog Outlook Pillar Pod and CFM+ Carbon Fiber Appearance Intake Manifold.The power is unbelievable and mileage is up to 24-to-25 MPG unloaded at highway speeds on the Tow/Economy setting. I'll have to upgrade my transmission next so I can run the Performance and Extreme settings without worrying about causing permanent damage. XDP was great to work with and I'll definitely be coming back to them for the other upgrades I want to do to my truck. Thanks XDP!
