The Banks Power EconoMind Cummins Diesel Tuner is a great match for the upgrades you currently have done on the truck. Tuning can be safe on all stock engines as long as the vehicle is being operated properly. The diesel engines found in our trucks are more than capable of handling the additional power, and often yield increases in fuel economy as well. Like most performance programmers or modules, they may slightly raise EGT's. The slight increase is nothing to be concerned about as long as the truck is being driven normally and not being abused. That being said, it's always highly recommended to have a set of gauges to monitor your temperatures even on stock, non-modified applications.
