Description
Upgrade the intake elbow in your 1998.5-2002 Dodge 5.9L Diesel with the Banks Power 42764 Monster-Ram Intake With Boost Tube. This intake was engineered using electronic computational fluid-dynamic technology, tested on the flow bench and dyno, and proven in the real world. The Monster-Ram improves airflow and raises boost without increasing backpressure at the turbine. This gives you enhanced power, flow, and efficiency. This manifold is pre-drilled and tapped so you can easily install a water-methanol injection system, nitrous injection, or a boost gauge. The Monster-Ram Intake directly replaces your factory elbow and enhances flow over the factory intake’s cramped, angular design. This intake is CNC port-matched to the stock heater and is great for use with a grid heater delete spacer. The Banks Monster-Ram is made to outflow the factory elbow by nearly 57%. Includes 3-1/2" mandrel-bent boost tube, intercooler boot, clamps and hardware.

Recently installed the Banks Monster Ram Intake with Boost Tube on my ‘02 Dodge Ram 2500 and can definitely notice a difference! Gained a solid 3 pounds of boost! Plus, it looks friggin awesome under the hood. Once you see the red, you know it’s Banks and you know it’s the best product out there!

Installed March 2020 on Second Gen Cummins, easy install, everything needed was included. my Cummins seems to pur now, breathes easier, Idle seems smoother, quieter when underway @ all speeds. Went from 17.6 to over 18.mph (18.7 last trip, 70mph on highway no load) I have free flowing aftermarket air box Installed last fall, next step is new Inter cooler.

I am impressed with this Banks intake manifold. Install was easy and the results are impressive. Airflow is improved and engine sounds better. Turbo spools faster as well. Overall I am impressed with this intake manifold.

I just spent the afternoon taking a competitor's product off my truck because it did not work as claimed and in fact made my vehicle unpleasant to drive. I have several Banks items on my truck and they all have fit perfectly, worked as claimed and have never caused me a minute of dissatisfaction. Trust me when I say I just wasted $400 to learn that I should've stuck with a brand I know and trust. Keep up the good work BANKS.

Yes, the BANKS POWER HIGH-RAM 3 1/2" INTAKE MANIFOLD 42764 will bolt up to the factory grid heater and the supplied intercooler tube will bolt up to the factory intercooler.
Will this product cool my egts Down? Will it lower egts on my 02 5.9 Cummins
The BANKS POWER HIGH-RAM 3 1/2" INTAKE MANIFOLD 42764 will allow for greater airflow into the engine increasing horsepower, engine efficiency and helping to decrease exhaust gas temperature.
[@answer]The BANKS POWER HIGH-RAM INTAKE MANIFOLD has a 3” inlet where as the BANKS POWER HIGH-RAM 3 1/2" INTAKE MANIFOLD 42764 has a 3/5” inlet.
The rear ports on this intake are for methanol/water injection right???
Sure! Water/Methanol, Boost Gauge, Nitrous, you can pretty much hook up anything you want to those ports.
