Description
Get up to 38% better airflow into your 2003-2007 Ford 6.0L Powerstroke when you swap out the stock air filter and housing for the Banks Power Ram-Air Intake System 42155. This air intake system utilizes the factory bellows that allow for engine movement, enhancing durability and reliability. The enclosed housing keeps out hot, power-robbing engine bay air while offering easier access to the filter. The cold air intake system's dome-shaped dry synthetic filter flows more freely than the factory's very dense and restrictive paper filter. The contoured, aerodynamic shape of this filter element removes restrictive sharp bends and chokepoints. This reusable filter is easy to access for visual inspection and cleaning, unlike the factory filter. The dry element filter is unlike the factory filter and is reusable and does not require replacement of the whole unit when dirty. This intake is engineered to work seamlessly with OE sensors and not generate trouble codes.

This filter is excellent. Its a bit expensive for what it is, but well put together. I bought an AFE Stage 2 dry filter, which has no casing, and it killed my fuel economy and was extremly unpleasant while driving on the highway. This filter sounds like stock cruising down the highway and got me 3 more MPG. I also noticed a big difference in power. Banks makes a quality product.

Great system, banks does a great job with the ease of the installation. I replaced the Airaid system that's been on my 6.0 with the Banks kit, and reduced my EGT's buy 150 degrees.
