can this tuner be used on a completely stock engine with original egr? Inquiring about banks six fun setup for 6.0 powerstroke
The tuning can be run on a stock vehicle. However, it is highly recommended that you install an intake and exhaust system to really maximize the performance. It is also highly recommended to monitor your essential engine parameters with some type of gauge/gauges. (Running high HP tunes on a stock application can be done, but the safety of doing so will depend greatly on the operator, supporting modifications and conditions of the vehicle.)

Does this product protect your transmission also It says it protects motor but how about transmission does it help shift point and easy shifting
The BANKS POWER SIX-GUN DIESEL TUNER 61023 will not alter shift points control the transmission in any way.
