Banks Power 55446 SpeedBrake All-Electronic Braking System

The Banks Power 55446 SpeedBrake All-Electronic Braking System is a great way to upgrade your 2007.5-2010 GM 6.6L Duramax LMM without the iQ-Dashboard. The  SpeedBrake achieves maximum braking power by intelligently regulating the turbo found on the truck. The SpeedBrake uses the variable geometry turbine vanes of the stock turbo in concert with deliberate gear selection and torque converter clutch to deliver not just stopping power but also peace of mind. This system offers Maximum braking (High, Medium, & Low strength settings) as well as speed control that pre-selects a target speed. 

The SpeedBrake is hand and feet-free while being totally automatic and lets you set your desired downhill speed while the unit does all the rest. By displaying your truck’s current speed, the Speedbrake regulated itself by parameters such as braking effort relating to vane position, transmission temperature, engine coolant temperature, and much more. System Status Indicator with on-screen alerts to parameters such as excessive trans or coolant temperatures. This easy-to-clean, easy-to-install all-electronic unit installs with only a few simple underhood connections, with no modifications to the exhaust system required.
