BD-Power 1032011-F Adjustable Track Bar

Purchased this for my truck to fix the play I had in the original track bar. But once installed I noticed it still had side to side play in the bushings when turning. So I called up BD diesel and sent them video of the problem only to get that there was nothing else they can do since that's the only bushing they offer. If you are looking to improve the steering on your truck I would go elsewhere and get something more reliable.

Let me start off by saying I'm usually not one to complain about a product or write a review unless it's something good to say. I purchased this kit to install on a customer's 02 2500 ram. I'm a person who deals with chassis fab and in my opinion this kit is almost unacceptable. First, the kit came and all the nuts and bolts were in one box scattered throughout and there were no instructions anywhere for instillation. Second the bracket for the track bar does not fit to the frame well at all. The portion that bolts to the crossmember doesn't sit tight, the portion that goes up against the side of the frame doesnt sit tight. Third, there is a mess with the choice in mounting hardware. The bolt for the bracket that goes through the original track bar mount on the driver side isn't even long enough to go through the nylon on the lock nut they provide. The bolt that goes from the top of the crossmember down through into the bracket has cheap shims that also don't sit tight to the frame and the bolt here isn't long enough in my opinion either. (I have triple checked they are on correctly). In general I'm not pleased with the kit however I will say the track bar itself is a very stout piece. The idea of the track bar is great but the hardware and bracket could use some more engineering for better fitment. The install is easy if you're mechanically inclined at all.
