Most Popular Questions

Will this unit set off any soft codes or have to be programmed at a Ford dealer? Thanks!

Answer

The installation of a 58V FICM will not cause the truck to throw a check engine light. The BD-Power 1059700-A 58V Fuel Injection Control Module (FICM) can be installed directly onto a stock truck and requires no programing of any kind.

Can a programmer still be used ?
View Staff Answer
Answer

All programmers are only reprogramming the ECM and not the FICM. Programmers are fine to stay installed/ be installed on a truck with an upgraded 58V FICM.

Is it true that the 58v FICMs show 22% less voltage reading on a scan tool, which would then be 48v showing?
View Staff Answer
Answer

Yes this will be the case when checking voltage through some type of scan tool. You can always test the FICM itself for proper voltage.

What pin is this 7 or 4 my truck came with 7 pin?

Answer
This FICM will work on any Ford 6.0L regardless of the FICM that was originally equipped on the truck. They are interchangeable.
