Keep it simple

I have had this thing for over a year and a half now. Excellent unit. I never post reviews on anything either but the negative one there made me type one to show how much the thing actually works. It is what it is, Cheap insurance for your VP44 truck. The kit came with all the parts needed and the sending unit is very responsive. If you slam the pedal down the light even flickers and goes back off. Definatly worth the money
the light came on

easy to install....less than 1 hr....light came on and has stayed on. i double checked the wiring and yep i need a new lift pump....raptor 150 is on the way should be here today...this light has cost me 450 dollars (alarm light kit and new raptor 150) but thats still cheaper than the injector pump alone (1200-1800 dollars)
Great insurance

Kit was simple to install, it came with all the neccessary connectors to make a clean and easy install. Took longer to get the air out of the fuel system than it took to install the kit. Been through one lift pump and injection pump, would like to not go through that again and with this product that shouldn't be an issue.

Questions and Answers

On 01 Dodge my LED light flickers pretty much constantly when accelerating and maintaining speed. Is this normal?
View Staff Answer
Answer

This is not normal and could be indicating that your fuel pump is either on its way out or your fuel filter may need changing. (The light should be out at all times unless there is a problem that’s causing pressure to drop below 5 PSI.)

Light goes on when truck is off and turns off when turned on
View Staff Answer
Answer

This is normal. The light will come on with the Key in the ON position, but not running. This is because pressure is less than 5 PSI with the engine off. Once the engine is started you will have fuel pressure above the 5PSI warning point and should trigger the light to go off. If the light is on while the truck is running, then your warning system is working and you pressure must be less than 5PSI. (This could be a clogged fuel filter or a lift pump/injection pump issue.)

CAn I get just the sender? I already have one installed but the sender failed. If so, how do I order?
