Description
The BD-Power 1300611 Xtruded Auxiliary Trans Cooler is the Coolest Xtruded Transmission Oil Cooler for your diesel pickup. The BD-Power high efficiency micro extruded bar technology provides 22% more cooling over other designs. The 25 flat tubes have 200 micro extruded passages providing a large surface area to transfer heat for external air flow cooling.
With a power rating of 33,930 BTU/HR it's designed for an excess of 30,000 GVW. Large end tanks provide up to 5/8" ID hose compatibility. 80-Watt, 10-inch, 800CFM electric fan offers the ultimate automatic transmission oil temperature control.

I was running 230 ish when towing a car hauler and 3 four wheelers throughout Alaska. I installed this unit and before towing 10K from AK to the lower 48, and I never saw 200 F over many mountain passes in Canada. I highly recommend this unit if you tow any weight up hill.

this cooler was a great replacement on my A518! the stock dodge cooler was a joke and more than likely the bad name given to the dodge automatics. 100,000 miles later this cooler is money in the bank. I normally pull 15K with my rig and never see temps higher than 210 degrees. dig on the go pedal all you want in the hills and stop and go in the city with that 5th wheel this cooler gets the job done with ease. if you pull heavy with a automatic this cooler is a must! I use it on a 1993 Cummins VE pump with automatic in a 1995 GMC. the transmission would not last before I got the cooler. I killed 2 suncoast transmissions before I tried one of these. no more issues, the fan kicks on with a cheap probe and relay keeping trans cool in traffic and 140 is the norm rolling down the road unloaded. pulling my 53 foot car hauler loaded is 180 and never seen over 210 in the hills. Guys if you have an automatic transmission try this out! heat kills them and this cooler works.

How many amps does the fan draw? I'm gonna to wire it myself with a toggle switch and I need to know how many amps the fan draws to determine if i need to run a relay.

Can I unbolt the factory piece and bolt this new cooler directly in on a 07 Duramax?
