Description
The BD-Power 2001102 Variable Vane Exhaust Brake uses the variable vane turbocharger in your Ford 6.7L Powerstroke. The variable vane design used in diesels today can reduce turbo lag, emissions and increase power and it can also be used to slow you down. BD utilizes this technology by electronically closing off the turbine vanes which can create up to 110 retarding horsepower. This braking force will help to maintain your speeds on descents and curves, giving you better control of your truck and load.

Bought my control a few weeks ago I was afraid it wouldnt work with my programmer. It works great I pulled my enclose snowmobile trailer over Wolf creek pass and didn’t have to hit the breaks once, I love this break. You have to be careful running the second stage because it will lock up the tires but first stage in manual mode is perfect! Highly recommend. The only time I use the second stage is if I am really heavy.
