The BD-Power 1030472 Allison 1000 Valve Body will replace the poorly performing factory valve body in your 2006-2010 GM 6.6L Duramax LBZ/LMM. When you add performance parts to your engine, the factory transmission struggles to adapt to the increase in horsepower and torque. The short comings of the stock transmission are obvious when it comes to towing and acceleration.
The Allison 1000 Valve Body provides an instant upgrade to ensure that your transmission can handle the increased performance of your engine. The 1000 Valve Body features mating surfaces that are lapped to remove surface irregularities that can cause major issues and new trim valves that increase pressure which creates more clamping force on the clutch plates. The BD Allison valve body is a must for trucks that tow moderate loads or racers who have made power increases of 90 to 120 rear wheel horsepower.
