Interference in the throttle position sensor circuits (APPS) on Dodge Cummins engines from 1994 to 2005 will create false voltage readings in the APPS circuit and cause the lock-up torque converter to rapidly cycle on and off as you drive. This quick and easy fix removes the annoying and potentially harmful RF interference.

Bought this for my truck in hopes that it would fix the shifting issues, which it did, but it didn't hold. There are lots of weak grounds on the PCM and I cleaned and wire brushed them all. Worked for a couple weeks then trans went out completely. Replaced it with a suncoast omega alto to the tune of 5k. This will help if you are running lower power levels but, start throwing big injectorz, aggresive tuning and more boost at it and the stock trans will die. Super easy install though. Recommend relocating both PCM grounds to cleaner location with more surface area.
Can't believe it

had the TC lock up issue with my 2001 cummins where it would cycle on and off rapidly once cruising speed was established, 65-80km/h, the rpm gauge would spike about 100-200rpm and you would feel a slight pull/slip in the trans, didn't happen all the time but happened fairly frequently, this product instantly fixed this issue and so far no problems, install time was like 10 minutes if that by myself and the most time consuming part was taking your intake off... enough said haha overall very happy with this product and i highly recommend it, especially for how cheap the fix is compared to other routes you may take. two words are easy and affordable, great fix
