Carlisle, PA, August 2nd-4th \u2013<\/strong> This past weekend XDP was in south central Pennsylvania for the Carlisle Truck Nationals. As one of the largest truck shows in the area, Truck Nationals is a must-see event for truck enthusiasts of all ages! As a sponsor and vendor, we\u2019re glad to be on board for a major event in the northeastern region close to our NJ HQ. Like many events this summer, mother nature played a factor. Despite some rainstorms and high heat, truck fans were out in full force for a great weekend!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year\u2019s show was a huge success. The Carlisle Truck Nationals saw an increase in registered participants for the fourth year in a row. As of Saturday, when they announced it on social media, they had 2,880 trucks registered. Featuring around fifty different classes, fans of all makes, models, and styles were represented. There was also a non-judged field for truck and SUV owners that weren\u2019t looking to compete and just wanted to share their rigs with other truck fans. Whether you are a fan of the Ford F-Series Super Duty, Dodge Ram, Chevy Silverado, GMC Sierra, Jeep JL or JT, this show had it covered. Not only were your standard trucks represented, but Big Rigs also had their own separate classes in the show.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The XDP Booth<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

We had a great weekend at the Carlisle Truck Nationals and our staff at the event were happy to be on-site. A big thank you to everyone that stopped by our booth to talk about their trucks and builds, and to check out some XDP products like our Xpressor Turbochargers<\/strong><\/a>, Xtra Cool Radiators<\/strong><\/a>, XDP Creeper<\/strong><\/a>, and more<\/strong><\/a>! We also were able to see our friends at FASS<\/strong><\/a>, BDS<\/strong><\/a>, and Warn Industries<\/strong><\/a> that also had booths set up at the event. Many of the great products they had on display can be found at XDP.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Swap Meet<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The swap meet or automotive flea market (per the event guide) is the go-to spot for anyone that\u2019s wrenching on, customizing, accessorizing, or building a truck. Whether you need that hard-to-find part, or you\u2019re just browsing what was out there, it\u2019s hard to not come home with something you needed, or even didn\u2019t need, but couldn\u2019t pass up. Offerings ranged from old socket sets to complete truck beds. It was easy to walk away with some new-to-you stuff for the shop, or your current build.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Other Activities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

You\u2019ve got to include the family and the Carlisle Truck Nationals does just this. Both children and adults had the opportunity to climb into the back of a monster truck for special rides. A burnout competition was also held to much enjoyment of the crowds on hand. In addition, the Red Neck Games added an extra layer of fun to the weekend. With carnival-like festivities, fans got the chance to bob for hot dogs, play cornhole, and there was even a beer bottle ring toss. It\u2019s safe to say there was something for everyone.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Truck Nationals provided the perfect opportunity for the automotive community to come together and enjoy a great weekend of trucks and fun. We enjoyed our weekend out at Carlisle for the Truck Nationals. It was the perfect opportunity to get out and enjoy the comradery the truck community offers. Not only are we happy to hear that event attendance is growing, it\u2019s a no-brainer as to why. Carlisle Truck Nationals has been running since the early 90\u2019s. If you have never been, you\u2019ll need to put this one on the calendar for next year!
