Lyons, IN August 23rd-24th-<\/strong> This past weekend XDP attended the 2024 Scheid Diesel Extravaganza at Wagler Motorsports Park in Lyons, Indiana. For what felt like the first time all summer, the rain was not a factor at an event we attended. Despite being hot and humid, diesel enthusiasts braved the heat to attend the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Event Activities<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The Scheid Diesel Extravaganza featured a show and shine that included some great looking vehicles and a dyno competition. Pro Pulling League truck and tractor pulls gave spectators a show as they put their high-power applications on display. There was truly something for diesel fans of all ages to enjoy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Drag Races<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The highlight of the event was at the drag strip. The Outlaw Diesel Super Series Drag Races were a must-see event. Attendees saw incredible diesel trucks pushed to the limit on the 1\/8 mile strip. Vehicles from Hollyrock Customs, Scheid Diesel, S&S Diesel, and others were battling it out. With our booth located near the finish line, we had an excellent view of these trucks flying down the track.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vendor Midway<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Speaking of our booth, our staff had a great time at the vendor midway. We enjoyed speaking with everyone that stopped by our booth to talk about their trucks and builds. Thank you to everyone that came by to chat and to check out some XDP products. Additionally, it was great to see our friends ATS<\/strong><\/a>, AFE<\/a><\/strong>, Wehrli Custom Fab<\/a><\/strong>, ARP<\/a><\/strong>, and others at the event as well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Looking over the vast campground at the event, you could tell this was a well-attended event. Filled with spectators and participants, the campground was a sight to see. For over twenty-eight years, this event has continued to evolve each year. We had a great time at the 2024 Scheid Diesel Extravaganza. Thanks to Scheid Diesel for having us and thanks to all those that came out and supported this event! Make sure it\u2019s on your calendar for next year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
