XDP was proud to team up with New Egypt Speedway to present the Bill Liedtka Memorial. From start to finish, the atmosphere was electric, fans filled the stands, competitors left it all on the track, and the community came together to honor a legend. It was more than just a race, it was a celebration of Billy\u2019s legacy and a night that reminded us why grassroots racing is so special.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"754\" src=\"https:\/\/www.xtremediesel.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Image-2-Race-winner.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-12980\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.xtremediesel.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Image-2-Race-winner.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.xtremediesel.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Image-2-Race-winner-300x221.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.xtremediesel.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Image-2-Race-winner-768x566.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>In the headlining XDP Street Stock Class, it was Chris Lane who drove his heart out, recovering from an early spin to climb through the field and cross the line in second. But after a post-race&nbsp;disqualification&nbsp;of the initial winner, Lane was awarded the $1,310 payday and an emotional win in honor of his friend, Billy Liedtka. It was a fitting tribute to a competitor whose memory still drives this community.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"576\" height=\"212\" src=\"https:\/\/www.xtremediesel.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Image-3-Turns.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-12981\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.xtremediesel.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Image-3-Turns.jpg 576w, https:\/\/www.xtremediesel.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/06\/Image-3-Turns-300x110.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 576px) 100vw, 576px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>From the Crate Sportsman showdown to the 4-Cylinders and NEWS Sprints, the racing was intense all night long.
