border into Canada this past weekend to visit with our good friends at BD Diesel and to further support our sponsorship in the NHRDA at Mission Raceway in beautiful British Columbia Canada.<\/p>\n<p>Great weather all weekend allowed for 3 days of product training, dyno testing, racing, and socializing with friends new and old.<\/p>\n<p>Things began Friday when I headed over early to BD&#8217;s Canadian headquarters for a day of comprehensive product training covering each category of BD product.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/blogxdp.files.wordpress.com\/2013\/06\/bd-headquarters-abbotsford-bc.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"i-202\" class=\"size-full wp-image\" src=\"http:\/\/blogxdp.files.wordpress.com\/2013\/06\/bd-headquarters-abbotsford-bc.jpg?w=487\" alt=\"Image\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Each session began in their boardroom with a video overview of the product category led by the person most knowledgeable in that particular area, then we would head down into the product manufacturing area for a hands on look at how BD actually produces the product and the technology involved.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"http:\/\/blogxdp.files.wordpress.com\/2013\/06\/christian-roth.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" id=\"i-204\" class=\"size-full wp-image\" src=\"http:\/\/blogxdp.files.wordpress.com\/2013\/06\/christian-roth.jpg?w=487\" alt=\"Image\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">BD is increasingly pairing new in the events history.\u00a0 The day\u2019s top three below included the highest HP and TQ ever recorded on BD\u2019s dyno set by Dimitri Mallard.<\/p>\n<p>1<sup>st<\/sup>\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Dimitri Mallard\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Raceway and it brought out many of western Canada\u2019s fastest diesel powered trucks as well as a few notables from the USA&#8230;such as the MBRP sponsored DirtyMax, Jarid Vollmer in the Bully Dog Pro Street truck, and the prior days dyno winner Dimitri Mallard from Custom Auto. \u00a0BD also brought out 3 trucks as they continue to use racing as yet another test bed for future product development and enhancement.\u00a0 The day\u2019s notables are below.<\/p>\n<p>Pro Stock: Gage Makinen, Billings MT, &#8217;99 Chevy, 10.400 sec., 128.40 mph defeated Aaron Schaff, Rimbey AB, &#8217;02 Dodge, 10.301 sec., 135.44 mph<\/p>\n<p>Pro Street: Jarid Vollmer, Chubbuck ID, &#8217;07 Dodge, 9.952 sec., 142.09 mph defeated Donovan Harris, Red Deer AB, 10.834 sec, 107.25
