XDP made the trip to the Denver area this past weekend for the annual Diesels on the Mountain weekend so we could visit with our good friends at ATS and to attend Truck Fest at Bandimere Speedway.<\/p>\n

We\u2019ve been able to visit ATS and Bandimere Speedway at least twice a year in recent years as a result of XDP\u2019s sponsorship and support of the Diesel Power Challenge in the Spring which has been held in Denver the past several years, but we also look forward to August and the Diesels on the Mountain weekend which ATS does a great job putting together.<\/p>\n

Staff from both our headquarters in New Jersey as well as XDP Performance Specialists Cody (x212) and Joe(x211) from our Las Vegas facility made the trip to Denver for the weekend.\u00a0 Also joining us in support of the weekend\u2019s events were XDP vendors Airaid, DDP Dynomite Diesel, Industrial Injection, MBRP, H&S, and of course our host for the weekend ATS Diesel Performance.<\/p>\n

Things kicked off Friday night with a huge crowd at the Adams County Fairground for the sled pulls.\u00a0 The crowd at this event has grown each year we\u2019ve attended and this year the stands were absolutely packed and after going through thousands of armbands at the gates they had to stamp attendee\u2019s hands for admission the crowd was that large\u2026.sled pulling is alive and well in Colorado!<\/p>\n

Saturday morning we headed to ATS Diesel Performance headquarters for their annual dyno day where XDP setup a display and visited with many of our customers and friends from the Denver area.\u00a0 ATS always makes sure everyone has a good time with two dyno\u2019s operating, plenty of good food, and lots to see between the exhibits setup from sponsors like XDP and tours of the ATS facility.<\/p>\n

Of note again on the dyno was Custom Auto\u2019s Duramax powered OVERKILL piloted by Dimitri Millard.\u00a0 This rig has been putting on the miles showing off the trucks continued development.\u00a0 In the last 8 weeks we\u2019ve seen this truck impress crowds in Western Canada, then all the way to the Southeast US last weekend running at Rockingham, and then days later laying down the power on both ATS dyno\u2019s.\u00a0 Nice to see the commitment from this team and they are not alone, we appreciate all those helping push our sport and hobby forward.<\/p>\n

On Sunday everyone headed to Bandimere Speedway for Truck Fest.\u00a0 This event featured a packed midway including an XDP exhibit and racing in several diesel classes\u2026including big rigs.\u00a0 It capped a great weekend for XDP and we look forward to returning next year for another great weekend with our friends at ATS.\u00a0 A big thank you goes out to ATS founder Clint Cannon who always makes us feel at home and his entire staff for their hard work creating a great diesel focused event.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
