In a packed parking lot at Skylands Stadium diesel enthusiasts from as far away as Virginia and Niagra, New York. All gathered to celebrate the life of Michael Accetta. With a show &amp; shine truck show, dyno shootout, monster truck rides, and more! All benefiting the Breathe for Michael Foundation! &nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"815\" src=\"https:\/\/www.xtremediesel.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/image-8-1024x815.jpeg\" alt=\"BTK\" class=\"wp-image-7229\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.xtremediesel.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/image-8-1024x815.jpeg 1024w, https:\/\/www.xtremediesel.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/image-8-300x239.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/www.xtremediesel.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/image-8-768x612.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/www.xtremediesel.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/image-8.jpeg 1100w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Rows of trucks prepped for show and shine were followed by a line of performance vehicles. All ready to be put to the test. Over thirty vendors and sponsors including <a href=\"https:\/\/www.xtremediesel.com\/\">XDP<\/a> set up in the lot. Everyone anxiously awaited some sunshine.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Despite the conditions, we caught up with folks who brought their trucks from far and wide to be shown off. One of these trucks you may be familiar with, Matt Rossi\u2019s (@moneyshotmatt) \u201cDirty Money\u201d \u201817 6.7L F250. The same truck that carried the late hip-hop icon DMX\u2019s casket on \u201cThe Final Ryde\u201d in April of 2021.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"682\" src=\"https:\/\/www.xtremediesel.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/image-7-1024x682.jpeg\" alt=\"DMX \" class=\"wp-image-7228\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.xtremediesel.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/image-7-1024x682.jpeg 1024w, https:\/\/www.xtremediesel.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/image-7-300x200.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/www.xtremediesel.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/image-7-768x512.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/www.xtremediesel.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/image-7.jpeg 1100w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We caught up with Guiseppe, who brought a pair of Duramax\u2019s to the show and shine, a \u201805 LLY work truck, and his stock GMC. \u201cIt\u2019s my baby, I&#8217;m not happy to admit it just sits in the garage most of the time but we\u2019re looking to do some big power upgrades on it and come back next year.\u201d&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.xtremediesel.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/image-10-1024x413.jpeg\" alt=\"Duramax \" class=\"wp-image-7231\" width=\"842\" height=\"339\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.xtremediesel.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/image-10-1024x413.jpeg 1024w, https:\/\/www.xtremediesel.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/image-10-300x121.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/www.xtremediesel.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/image-10-768x310.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/www.xtremediesel.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/image-10.jpeg 1100w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 842px) 100vw, 842px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-heading\">Guiseppe and his 2 Duramax Trucks <\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As we continued down the path of the show &amp; shine trucks, the sun finally decided to make an appearance.&nbsp; That\u2019s when we met Tyler. Tyler&#8217;s 7.3L Powerstroke, included \u201cpretty much everything you could want in a 7.3L,\u201d like an XDP Oil Cooler and XDP Pushrods. This truck had a lot of sentimental value too. This was Tyler\u2019s truck in high school that he sold only to buy back to restore in 2016. This was after all the truck\u2019s first public appearance since then and Tyler paid homage to Michael Accetta by color matching parts of his 7.3L&nbsp;just like Michael\u2019s truck.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"906\" src=\"https:\/\/www.xtremediesel.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/image-9-1024x906.jpeg\" alt=\"OBS\" class=\"wp-image-7230\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.xtremediesel.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/image-9-1024x906.jpeg 1024w, https:\/\/www.xtremediesel.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/image-9-300x265.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/www.xtremediesel.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/image-9-768x680.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/www.xtremediesel.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/image-9.jpeg 1216w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Making the drive from upstate New York, Dylan and a few of his friends made the trip to Skylands Stadium. He sized up the competition with his Powerstroke comping in the show &amp; shine, \u201cThere\u2019s a lot of really nice trucks here today.&nbsp; Everybody has their own tastes and it\u2019s great to see them all out here.\u201d&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"682\" src=\"https:\/\/www.xtremediesel.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/image-11-1024x682.jpeg\" alt=\"Ford Lineup\" class=\"wp-image-7232\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.xtremediesel.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/image-11-1024x682.jpeg 1024w, https:\/\/www.xtremediesel.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/image-11-300x200.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/www.xtremediesel.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/image-11-768x512.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/www.xtremediesel.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/04\/image-11.jpeg 1100w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h6 class=\"has-text-align-center wp-block-heading\">Trucks lined up for the show and shine! <\/h6>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Eventually, when the sun started to shine, we met up with Mark from Big Time Kustomz. Mark was eager to thank everyone who came out to support the event. \u201cI just want to express my gratitude to all the vendors and sponsors, without them, an event like this that continues to grow every year would definitely not be possible. So, I can\u2019t express my gratitude enough for everything they do. Michael is really the whole reason for this event, the whole reason we\u2019re all brought together. Five years going strong, and we pack the house every time!\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Michael\u2019s parents David and Melina described how the event has grown over the years. \u201cIt was tiny, maybe 50 people showed up, and I think we\u2019re up to about 5,000 now. It&#8217;s amazing!\u201d&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">David also described how things got started in the first place. Also the special relationship between Michael and Mark. \u201cMichael\u2019s was one of the first trucks that Mark actually worked on, and through that relationship, Michael and Mark became really close.&nbsp; After Michael passed away and we had done a charity dyno event, Mark said, \u2018Hey we have to keep this going, we have to keep the spirit of Michael alive,\u2019 and what better way to honor him.\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">So, what does the future hold for the Dyno Charity event? \u201cNothing we want to spill the beans on now, but bigger and better and hopefully shopping for an even bigger venue!\u201d&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">There\u2019s a lot to look forward to for next year\u2019s Big Time Kustomz annual Dyno for Charity.
