{"id":93,"date":"2012-05-24T14:54:00","date_gmt":"2012-05-24T18:54:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.xdp.com\/2012\/05\/24\/take-ts-performance-the-nhrda-add-good-old-southern-hospitality-sprinkle-it-generously-with-diesel-enthusiasts-and-what-do-you-get\/"},"modified":"2023-07-26T15:41:04","modified_gmt":"2023-07-26T15:41:04","slug":"take-ts-performance-the-nhrda-add-good-old-southern-hospitality-sprinkle-it-generously-with-diesel-enthusiasts-and-what-do-you-get","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.xtremediesel.com\/blog\/2012\/05\/24\/take-ts-performance-the-nhrda-add-good-old-southern-hospitality-sprinkle-it-generously-with-diesel-enthusiasts-and-what-do-you-get\/","title":{"rendered":"2012 TS Performance Outlaw Sled Pull &#038; Diesel Drags"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Take TS Performance, add good old southern hospitality, and then mix that with a ton of diesel enthusiasts teamed with XDP and what do you get? \u00a0The best diesel event so far this season!<\/p>\n<p>The weather was great and from the fans to the food this was an event that was not to be missed.<\/p>\n<p>Day 1 at the track was impressive and fast!\u00a0 Some of our friends ran strong right out of the gate, like Dimitri Millard who once again put his 2010 Diesel Power Challenge winning street truck solidly into the 9\u2019s before head gasket issues sidelined the truck. Diesels continued to roar down the track and you could tell when a low number was going to be posted just by the sound. \u00a0It was a great day until somebody clipped a guidewire and pulled down the pole, cutting the power. \u00a0Luckily it was late in the day and everyone had already had a good time.<\/p>\n<p>Day 2 at the pulls things got even better. \u00a0The dyno was putting down the numbers and enthusiasts milled around the show-n-shine all day. \u00a0Some clouds rolled in as the day went on but the little bit of rain we did see didn\u2019t matter. \u00a0The show-n-shine featured some very nice trucks like our very own XDP Duramax SEMA truck and\u2026wait is that a Lexus SUV, what\u2019s that doing here?!&#8230;.turns out they had dropped a Dodge Diesel in there\u2026.very different and very cool.<\/p>\n<p>Oh, then there was also the bikini contest but I\u2019m sure you don\u2019t care about that so I\u2019ll move on\u2026.just kidding (MAKE SURE you check out the bikini contest pictures we shot from the VIP area on stage\u2026TS hooked us up!)
