The Borgeson 800116 Remanufactured Steering Box Upgrade is a must have for your 03-08 Dodge Ram 2500/3500 Pickup. Borgeson has re-manufactured a modern Delphi integral power steering gearbox to upgrade the steering in your pickup. The Borgeson Dodge Box offers a larger piston diameter for more available power assist and a modern variable valve that allows for stable highway driving and effortless parking and maneuvering. This steering box upgrade will bolt directly to the stock mounting location. It includes a replacement pitman arm, and hose adapters for a complete bolt-in installation.

an overall great product, i ordered it for my 04 2500 ram to help fix the extreme play in the steering. Removal of the stock steering box was a breeze, and initial installation of the borgeson box was easy too. Only bad thing was that the borgeson box was not set to center like most replacement gear boxes, so I had to center the gears before reinstalling the pitman arm. that being said its an overall good product and a GREAT upgrade for any HD Ram.

Can I use this product with a 4" lift if I stick with the stock pittman arm? Is there another product available

The Borgeson Dodge Ram Power Steering Box Upgrade 800116 can be used on a 4" lift as long as the manufacture of the lift doesn’t require an aftermarket drop pitman arm. If the manufacture recommends/includes an aftermarket pitman arm and you choose not to use this arm you could damage your suspension and the steering box.
