Description

The Borgeson 800328 Hi-Flow Power Steering Pump is a direct replacement for your existing pump. This pump has the out-put pressure/flow calibrated to 1450-1550 PSI and 3.5 GPM in order to provide your Ram with the power it's steering needs. This Power Steering Pump includes a reservoir with two returns (ships with one capped) for all Hydro-Boost or Vacuum brake applications. Every Borgeson power steering pump is proudly assembled and tested in the USA from globally sourced components.

Not sure the history of the truck but, I had to take the threaded high pressure tap at the bottom off of my old pump and put it on the new. I do not know if the lines were changed in the past or not. Besides that everything else was straightforward.

Will I have to replace my hoses with this pump?

It’s highly recommended by the manufacture to install the pump along with the Borgeson power steering hose kit.

Why are there 2 lines on this new pump if OEM pumps only 1 I took this pump to my mechanic to have it installed and he called me and told me this pump wouldn't work because my OEM pump only had 1 line coming out of it and this one has 2. So now I'm still using my old pump which doesn't work well. How can I make this work?
