The Bostech EGR503 Intake Manifold is a direct replacement for the dirty unit in your 2004.5-2007 Ford 6.0L Powerstroke. Most people are aware that if the EGR valve fails, it needs to be replaced but are not aware that it can leak into the intake manifold. The EGR Valve mounts to the intake manifold and often causes the intake to become heavily contaminated. A contaminated intake can cause the engine to operate less efficiently.
The Bostech Intake Manifold eliminates the need of spending valuable time using several cans of brake cleaner or carburetor cleaner in an attempt to clean the intake. This intake manifold has been cleaned and pressure tested for any leaks and cracks.
