Adapter is bullet proof. But 6.0 is not designed for a 7.3 clutch. They come on at 170 and 6.0 has 190 stat it just dont work. If all you do is ride then you wont notice any change. But if you tow you will cuss the whole time.

No. The Bullet Proof Diesel 6502213 Fan Clutch Adapter does not require tuning to be installed as there should be no check engine light. There will most likely be two soft codes stored in the engine computer for fan speed and fan circuit as they are disconnected, but again there should be no check engine light on the dash.
