how much does this leveling kit actually lift the truck? and does it end up being the same height as rear? looking to level my denali hd and put 305/45r22 under it

Answer

The leveling kit will bring the front of the truck up by 2”, making the front completely level with the rear.

Can I run 315/70/17 on stock rims with this kit?

Answer
The max diameter tire recommended would be 33". This is due to the square-ish wheel well design of the GM trucks which makes it hard to fit a tall tire without having clearance issues. Even with a 33" tire, some trimming may be necessary for perfect fitment.
Will this kit degrade the ride quality and handling compared to a stock truck?

Answer

This can sometimes be subjective as everyone’s opinion and use of their trucks may vary. That being said, you will notice that the Cognito kits are more expensive than some of the kits on the market. The reason for this is because they work diligently to offer one of the best leveling kits on the market allowing you to successfully lift the truck without losing your ride quality along with fixing the know issues within the suspension.

We’ve had tons of customers praising how much better there truck handles and feels going down the road with these kits on them.

What is the benefit to the pitman and idler arm support?

Answer
The Idler and Pitman arm supports help remove some of the "slop" that can be associated with parallelogram style steering. This "slop" can be amplified when adding bigger tires.
