The Dayco 89658 Automatic Belt Tensioner from XDP is a high-quality option to restore tension on your serpentine belt. Maintain factory function in your vehicle with Dayco products from XDP. The heavy-duty cast aluminum spring case is highly resistant to rust and premature cracking to provide a long service life along with quieter performance. This tensioner has a locator pin built to withstand the maximum drive demands and correctly locate the tensioner for installation. This Belt Tensioner is constructed with a flat wire spring that allows the internal tension to be concentric to deliver constant tension. The patented Deflected Arm Plate decreases arm movement, extending the life of the tensioner by restricting the amount of rotational movement.
