Batteries are very susceptible to heat and vibrations that could cause premature failure and hazardous leaks. The DEI Cell Saver - Battery Insulation Kit is intended to protect batteries from harmful radiant heat and not the cold. Generally speaking, the only way to keep a battery warm in cold temperatures is with some type of heater or tender charger.
