$ 1204.07
Banks BrakeĀ® 04.5-07 (04 1/2-07) A total system solution with enhanced transmission control for exhaust braking, Banks' direct-mount, no-maintenance exhaust brake has electronics that monitor critical engine and transmission parameters to maximize braking efficiency. It dramatically cuts downhill speeds without using the wheel brakes. This keeps brakes cool and ready for emergencies, and saves thousands in brake maintenance. Optimizes exhaust flow when not engaged. Easy install; needs no drilling, cutting or modifications to stock wiring. (Automatic Transmissions only) Computerized brake control (CBC) and SmartLock are included. CBC automatically senses throttle position, controls brake engagement and cuts out annoying brake noises. Fast warm-up function prolongs brake durability, and automated brake disengagement at low speed smoothes stop-and-go driving. Banks SmartLock locks the torque converter and raises line pressure to smoothly reduce vehicle speed and safeguard the transmission. Cast, large-bore brake housing assembly; High-force 41/4" vacuum actuator; Belt-driven vacuum pump with serpentine belt for quiet operation; Computerized Brake Controller/SmartLock; Large butterfly valve with super-alloy shaft-and-bearing system; Wire loom; Mounting hardware. 5-Year Ltd. Warranty Brake assembly* 2-Year Ltd. Warranty Electrical components, pneumatic components, solenoid valve and auxilliary air supplies (where applicable) *Ltd. warranty does not cover service conditions (i.e. soot buildup in shaft bushings due to out-of-tune engine, or excess heat-damage due to overly-rich fueling conditions) 04.5+ Automatic: Please Verify that your vehicle is equipped with a transmission throttle valve assembly and that NO Throttle Position sensor assembly is installed to have the CBC/ SmartLock function properly. *For 2004 Automatic: If your vehicle is not equipped with a Transmission Throttle Valve Assembly but has a throttle position sensor located in the engine compartment on the drivers side towards the front of the engine and the three transmission connectors on the driver's side of the transmission you will need system part #55229 for your Banks CBC/SmartLock to function properly.
BD-Power Exhaust Brake Turbo Mount Air Kit 2023330 1696 31.00 BD-Power Exhaust Brake Turbo Mount Air Kit 2023330
4.667 5 3
$ 1340
BD`s new Dodge Ram Turbo Mount Exhaust Brake for the 2006-2007 pick-ups bolts in place of the existing elbow where it is clamped to the turbo outlet and exhaust system. BD`s "Variable orifice technology" has been incorporated into this air engagement design that results in peak retarding power throughout the engine's operating rpm. The spring loaded air cylinder closes the offset Stainless Steel butterfly and Stainless Steel shaft which rotates in a special bushing material to ensure that the butterfly does not stick closed or open. The butterfly has been positioned in the exhaust brake elbow so when open exhaust flow is not reduced. A threaded port for mounting an exhaust temperature probe and a port with 1/4 SS line connected is a simple method to monitor retarding performance. BD`s lighted on/off toggle switch is wired into an electronic idle verification board for quick exhaust brake engagement. The durable air compressor that is included can also be used for other applications; it's a Ram tuff product. Installing a BD exhaust brake adds safety to your towing experience.

Pacbrake C18037 Maintenance Lube 19177 1.00 Pacbrake C18037 Maintenance Lube
$ 7.81
Pacbrake exhaust brakes are relatively maintenance free when used at every opportunity. However, to get the maximum amount of trouble free service a few areas require periodic lubrication. Lubrication is one key factor for trouble free service of your exhaust brake. The two reasons that give an exhaust brake problems are worn parts and seizing parts. Worn parts are caused by extreme use without the benefit of the proper lubrication. Seized parts can be attributed to seasonal use and lack of lubrication. Periodic lubrication will prevent these two issues. Applying Pacbrakes synthetic lubricant to the moving parts at every oil change will eliminate both these problems. FOR OPTIMUM RESULTS, FOLLOW THESE SIMPLE STEPS With the engine off, apply a sufficient amount (4-5 drops) to the following locations: Both cylinder pivot ends Cylinder air line port Main butterfly shaft Cylinder rod Base of the spring lever (PRXB only)

Pacbrake C40111 DirectMount PRXB Exhaust Brake 33378 15.00 Pacbrake C40111 DirectMount PRXB Exhaust Brake
$ 938.63
The Pacbrake C40111 DirectMount PRXB Exhaust Brake is the unquestioned leader when it comes to braking on your 2004.5-2007 Dodge 5.9L Cummins. Pacbrakes flagship product, the PRXB (pressure regulated exhaust brake), is the unquestioned leader in the supplemental brake industry. The patented PRXB design delivers the strongest braking horsepower, greatest speed reductions and shortest stopping distances possible without the use of service brakes. It maintains optimum retarding performance by maximizing the exhaust backpressure throughout the entire RPM range. Unlike a typical exhaust brake, which requires high RPMs to work properly, the PRXB delivers constant exhaust pressure (braking) as early as 1200 RPM through to the maximum allowable RPM. Controlled by a master ON/OFF switch, Pacbrakes exhaust brakes provide whisper quiet supplemental braking that allows service brakes to be used much less, ultimately saving you money. They have the ability to be left on all the time, making it ideal for in-city driving or for steep, downhill grades. This product pays for itself as less wear on the brake pads means fewer brake jobs. WHATS SO SPECIAL ABOUT THE PRXB? In order to have consistent and effective braking over the entire RPM range, it is important (and necessary) to maintain constant backpressure. To achieve this, Pacbrakes patented design has incorporated an additional waste gate on the butterfly valve to regulate the amount of exhaust flow that is being passed through. The flow is controlled by a spring-loaded arm, whose pressure rating and location are key factors in the functionality of the PRXB. Located outside of the housing and away from the heat, the spring is able to maintain its strength and durability for years of proper and precise braking performance. CREATING and MAINTAINING BACKPRESSURE Backpressure is created by exhaust flow entering the housing, hitting the closed butterfly valve and being forced back out in the direction it came. It is maintained by the pressure-controlled spring that is located on the outside of the exhaust brake housing. PREMIUM BRAKING PERFORMANCE As the engines RPM increase, the spring compresses and the arm moves away from the butterfly valve, therefore releasing more exhaust flow through the orifice. As the RPMs decrease, the spring releases and the arm applies pressure back onto the plate, covering the hole, and ultimately releasing a smaller amount of exhaust flow. Features: PRXB Delivers Strongest Braking Horsepower Less Wear and Tear On Service Brakes Ideal For In-City Driving Or Steep, Downhill Grades Fits Stock Turbocharger Note: Exhaust brake only. Can be used as an upgrade to replace a fixed orifice brake. If used on new installation, additional components will be required.
