BD-Power 1027342 Remote Mount Exhaust Brake 27661 23.00 BD-Power 1027342 Remote Mount Exhaust Brake
$ 1340
The BD-Power 1027342 Remote Mount Exhaust Brake for your 2007.5-2012 Dodge 6.7L Cummins is the strongest in the industry! Descending grades with trailers can be hazardous and tricky situations, resulting in over heated service and trailer brakes, that lead to brake fade, excessive wear, and costly unwarranted repairs. This exhaust brake kit allows you to keep the exhaust braking feature after the stock VGT Turbocharger has been removed and an aftermarket one has been put it in its place. This Exhaust Brake has been designed to be controlled by ECM just like the stock VGT turbocharger meaning it is controlled by the switch already in your dash. All of the features of the original brake including the cold weather warm-up feature, cruise control compatibility and the brake release on downshifts to reduce transmission wear will all still work. This kit comes complete with a control module and wiring harness to plug in where the stock turbocharger connected, this means there is no splicing into stock wiring, no wiring through the firewall and a much cleaner installation. Features: Works With Pre-Existing Factory Switch 4" Remote Mount Exhaust Brake For Use With Aftermarket Turbos Controlled By Factory ECM Reduced Installation Time Note: This exhaust brake is not for use on trucks with a stock turbo, it is designed for use on trucks that have an aftermarket non-vgt turbocharger. Your truck must already have an in-dash exhaust brake switch.

Pacbrake C18037 Maintenance Lube 19177 1.00 Pacbrake C18037 Maintenance Lube
$ 7.81
Pacbrake exhaust brakes are relatively maintenance free when used at every opportunity. However, to get the maximum amount of trouble free service a few areas require periodic lubrication. Lubrication is one key factor for trouble free service of your exhaust brake. The two reasons that give an exhaust brake problems are worn parts and seizing parts. Worn parts are caused by extreme use without the benefit of the proper lubrication. Seized parts can be attributed to seasonal use and lack of lubrication. Periodic lubrication will prevent these two issues. Applying Pacbrakes synthetic lubricant to the moving parts at every oil change will eliminate both these problems. FOR OPTIMUM RESULTS, FOLLOW THESE SIMPLE STEPS With the engine off, apply a sufficient amount (4-5 drops) to the following locations: Both cylinder pivot ends Cylinder air line port Main butterfly shaft Cylinder rod Base of the spring lever (PRXB only)
Pacbrake C44038 4" Inline Mount PRXB Exhaust Brake 32956 35.00 Pacbrake C44038 4" Inline Mount PRXB Exhaust Brake
$ 1870.33
Increase control of your 2007.5-2018 Dodge 6.7L Cummins with the Pacbrake C44038 4" Inline Mount PRXB Exhaust Brake. As Pacbrake's flagship product, the PRXB (Pressure Regulated Exhaust Brake) is the leader in the exhaust brake market. The patented PRXB design delivers the strongest braking horsepower, greatest speed reductions and shortest stopping distances possible without the use of service brakes. It maintains optimum retarding performance by maximizing the exhaust backpressure throughout the entire RPM range. Unlike a typical exhaust brake, which requires high RPMs to work properly, the PRXB delivers constant exhaust pressure (braking) as early as 1200 RPM through to the maximum allowable RPM. Controlled by a master ON/OFF switch, Pacbrakes exhaust brakes provide whisper quiet supplemental braking that allows service brakes to be used much less, ultimately saving you money. They have the ability to be left on all the time, making it ideal for in-city driving or for steep, downhill grades. This product pays for itself as less wear on the brake pads means fewer brake jobs. What's So Special About The PRXB? In order to have consistent and effective braking over the entire RPM range, it is important (and necessary) to maintain constant backpressure. To achieve this, Pacbrakes patented design has incorporated an additional waste gate on the butterfly valve to regulate the amount of exhaust flow that is being passed through. The flow is controlled by a spring-loaded arm, whose pressure rating and location are key factors in the functionality of the PRXB. Located outside of the housing and away from the heat, the spring is able to maintain its strength and durability for years of proper and precise braking performance. Creating and Maintaining Backpressure Backpressure is created by exhaust flow entering the housing, hitting the closed butterfly valve and being forced back out in the direction it came. It is maintained by the pressure-controlled spring that is located on the outside of the exhaust brake housing. Premium Braking Performance As the engines RPM increase, the spring compresses and the arm moves away from the butterfly valve, therefore releasing more exhaust flow through the orifice. As the RPMs decrease, the spring releases and the arm applies pressure back onto the plate, covering the hole, and ultimately releasing a smaller amount of exhaust flow. There is less than a 10% change in backpressure over the entire RPM range on the PRXB. Features: For 4" Exhaust System Less Wear and Tear On Service Brakes Great For City Driving and Steep, Downhill Grades PRXB Delivers The Strongest Braking Horsepower Application Notes: Remote Mount, fits 4" exhaust. For Automatic or manual transmission trucks. This exhaust brake kit is intended for trucks without the factory VGT turbocharger.
