ATS 3098222326 Stage 2 68RFE 2WD Transmission Package 31977 500.00 ATS 3098222326 Stage 2 68RFE 2WD Transmission Package
$ 6602.5
Put power to the ground in your 2007.5-2018 Dodge 6.7L Cummins with the ATS 3098222326 Stage 2 68RFE 2WD Transmission Package. ATS started RandD in 2007.5 and spent countless man hours and resources re-designing and strengthening the 68RFE platform. This began with building their Five Star torque converter. Featuring a billet cover, 5 clutches featuring the ATS patented square tab design billet stator, furnace brazed impeller, billet piston and HD bearings. All stalled to the Cummins torque curve. Capable of handling 2500 ft/lbs of torque, this torque converter will handle whatever is thrown at it. This ATS Stage 2 68RFE Package is designed for stock to 450hp trucks and does not include any tuning or transmission controller. Without TCM tuning or the HandS Overdrive Software, this transmission can hold around 450hp at the tires. With the addition of transmission tuning, capability is increased to around 500hp. For those using the HandS Overdrive Software, any line pressure setting can be run EXCEPT the 250 PSI setting. Torque Converter Regulator Valve Upgrade The Torque converter regulator valve has been redesigned to prevent over pressure and ballooning of the converter. This also regulates minimum converter charge for proper cooling and lubrication of the transmission gear set. This redesign eliminates the common problematic valve and bore ware that is usually the first cause of high mileage transmission failure. Pump Upgrade The main pressure regulator circuit is modified to enable a broader range of pressure that can be commanded from the Co-Pilot. This allows the pump to lower line pressure when the engine is at low loads and more responsively raise pressure above stock to react with increased engine torque and horse power levels. Low Sprag Upgrade Next, ATS removed the plastic low sprag and replaced it with a metal clutch. Due to physical limitations inside the transmission, there is no way to make it physically larger. However, ATS bypasses its use when paired with the Co-Pilot, thus eliminating failures between 1st and 2nd gear. Reinforce the Forward and Intermediate Shaft Hubs A common failure on the 68RFEs are cracked shaft hubs. Even with stock power, the hub can begin to crack near the point it meets the shaft. ATS reinforces this area to avoid torsional stresses that can cause catastrophic transmission failure. This is a standard on all ATS 68RFE packages. Reinforce the Rear Planet Pinions Modified power or towing frequently can cause the rear planet pinions to loosen and cause catastrophic transmission failure. ATS reinforce the pinions to prevent any movement of the pins thus eliminating failure from the factory design. Clutch Pack Upgrade For power levels over 400hp, the clutch packs need to be addressed. ATS built 68RFEs feature extensive machining to the pressure plates to add: The Under Drive (Forward) clutch pack surface area is increased by 21%, using single sided clutch plates. The Over Drive clutch pack surface area is increased by 17%, also using single sided clutch plates, this allows for better clutch control when overdrive is used at higher power levels. The 2C clutch pack surface area is increased by 34%, using double sided frictions. The 4C clutch pack surface area is increased by 34%, using double sided frictions. Valve Body Upgrade At this point, ATS needed to look at the valve body and build it around the ATS Co-Pilot features. The 68-RFE uses a non-synchronous, clutch-to-clutch design. This means that the shifts from gear to gear must be timed perfectly thereby releasing and applying a friction clutch to achieve a flawless shift. Because of the sensitivity of the hydraulic circuits, ATS heavily modified many areas of the valve body. Hydraulic oil flow is ported to certain clutch packs where additional pressure is needed. The accumulator piston seals have been redesigned to ensure hydraulic pressure integrity. The accumulator plate is made of high-grade material to compensate for the additional pressure that the accumulator pistons and springs exert during heavy power situations. Deep Pan and Eliminating Case Flex All ATS 68RFEs come with a deep pan. The pan adds extra fluid, features an aluminum-finned design, magnetic drain plug and is tapped for a temperature probe. One of its most important benefits is that it adds rigidity to the case. 68RFEs are known to have excessive case-flex, which results in a cracked bellhousing, tailshaft or main section. The ATS Deep pan eliminates flex and works towards avoiding a cracked case. Stage 2 Package Includes ATS Built 68RFE Auto Trans ATS 68RFE Trans Case Brace ATS 68RFE Reinforced Overdrive Hub Assembly ATS 68RFE Reinforced Underdrive Hub Assembly ATS 68RFE Upgraded Compound Planetary Assembly ATS 5 Star Viskus Clutch Drive Torque Converter ATS Extra Deep Transmission Pan Note: This transmission does not include any trans tuning, or trans controller.Warranty Information: This ATS Automatic Transmission carries a ONE YEAR/ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND MILE (1 yr/100,000 mile) Warranty. This Warranty shall not apply to any automatic transmission that has been improperly stored or installed This Warranty shall not apply to misapplication, improper operating conditions, accidents, or neglect. This Warranty shall not apply to an automatic transmission that has been improperly repaired, maintained and/or altered by the owner or his agent/tech. Most importantly, all transmission shafts are not covered by this Warranty on any transmission due to the capability of certain situations to cause stress-loads beyond the structural ability of the shaft. ATS’ Automatic Transmission Warranty is NOT transferable. It is mandatory for implementation of this warranty that line pressures are tested at time of install. ATS will not pay for any fluids replaced in the event of a transmission failure.

Match the potential of the modified engine in your 2007.5-2018 Dodge 6.7L Cummins with the ATS 3098322326 Stage 3 68RFE 2WD Transmission Package. The ATS Stage 3 68RFE Package is built for stock to 500hp trucks and does not include any tuning or transmission controller. Without TCM tuning or the HandS Overdrive Software, this transmission can hold around 500hp at the tires. With the addition of transmission tuning, capability is increased to around 700hp. For those using the HandS Overdrive Software, any line pressure setting can be run EXCEPT the 250 PSI setting. ATS’ Automatic Transmission Warranty is NOT transferable. It is mandatory for implementation of this warranty that line pressures are tested at time of install. ATS will not pay for any fluids replaced in the event of a transmission failure.

$ 6175
Put power to the ground in your 2007.5-2018 Dodge 6.7L Cummins with the ATS 3099122326 Stage 1 68RFE Transmission. This ATS Stage 1 68RFE Package is designed for stock to 450hp trucks and does not include any tuning or transmission controller.Without TCM tuning or the HandS Overdrive Software, this transmission can hold 350-400hp at the tires. With the addition of transmission tuning, capability is increased to 400-450hp. Low Sprag Upgrade Next, we removed the plastic low sprag and replaced it with a metal clutch. Due to physical limitations inside the transmission, there is no way to make it physically larger. However, we bypass its use when paired with the Co-Pilot, thus eliminating failures between 1st and 2nd gear. Valve Body Upgrade At this point, we needed to look at the valve body and build it around the ATS Co-Pilot features. The 68-RFE uses a non-synchronous, clutch-to-clutch design. This means that the shifts from gear to gear must be timed perfectly thereby releasing and applying a friction clutch to achieve a flawless shift. Because of the sensitivity of the hydraulic circuits, we heavily modified many areas of the valve body. ATS Built 68RFE Transmission (Transmission Only) 13214 500.00 ATS Built 68RFE Transmission (Transmission Only)
$ 4322.5
There are many things that need to be understood about the RAM 68-RFE transmission. This transmission was originally designed to be very inexpensive to manufacture. This approach forced the original designers to cut corners in size and quality of materials that could be used. On a positive note, the technology that is utilized in the transmission is leading edge; this advanced technology has forced the aftermarket to completely rethink how to modify and control the transmission so that it can still perform and remain reliable while modifying the engine to have higher power levels over stock. ATS has developed a combined technology utilizing recalibration of the hydraulic circuits inside the transmission, including revamped accumulator rates, reprogramed clutch to clutch apply and release timings, and line pressure rise rate to perfectly match the torque output of the engine. These enhancements, along with other key hydraulic modifications which ATS makes, must be done to ensure the clutch packs have the correct apply and release rates when commanded on or off. As well, the transmission hard parts have many limiting weaknesses which do not allow for increased power levels over stock. Specifically, the light duty shafts and hubs, and the low one-way sprag; these hard part weaknesses must be addressed. Pump Assembly The Torque converter regulator valve has been redesigned to prevent over pressure and ballooning of the converter, along with regulating minimum converter charge for proper cooling and lubrication of the transmission gear set. This redesign also eliminates the common problematic valve and bore ware that is usually the first cause of high mileage transmission failure. The main pressure regulator circuit is modified to enable a broader range of pressure that can be commanded from the TCM. This allows the pump to lower line pressure when the engine is at low loads and more responsively raise pressure above stock to react with increased engine torque and horse power levels. Rotating Clutch Drum Assembly and Clutch Packs: Clutch modifications are generally one of the most impactive and important items that can be upgraded in any transmission. In the case of the 68-RFE transmission there is little room for additional clutches so modifications must be done to pressure plates providing increased clutch surfaces. The clutch packs that are increased surface area listed below. The Under Drive (Forward) clutch pack surface area is increased by 21%, using single sided clutch plates. The weak mechanical low one-way sprag is replaced with a stronger roller clutch design that used a "cam and roller" system. The factory low sprag not only has a very weak torque capacity, but it also fails from lack of proper lubrication. The stronger low roller clutch design used by ATS prevents the higher mileage failure associated with the sprag-type clutch. Although the new "cam and roller" low roller clutch design is much stronger it still has imitations; the Co-Pilot transmission controller (not included) contains a direct function to route power around the mechanical clutch when extreme power levels are sensed. See related product for more information on CoPilot. Valve body: The valve body is considered the nervous system of the transmission; the valve body is responsible for converting the electrical signals from the TCM into hydraulic actions. The 68-RFE uses a non-synchronous, clutch-to-clutch design. This means that the shifts from gear to gear must be timed perfectly thereby releasing and applying a friction clutch to achieve an flawless shift. Because of the sensitivity of the hydraulic circuits, we heavily modified many areas of the valve body. Also, the ATS 68-RFE valve body can be purchased separately and installed in a stock transmission for increased transmission capacity. Build Date Guide: 2007.5-2009 Transmission: Trucks built from Feb-07 to Jul-09 2010+ Transmission: Trucks built from Aug-09 and up Application Notes: Transmission only. Deep Pan and Torque Converter sold separately. Not for use in Cab and Chassis models. Warranty Information: This ATS Automatic Transmission carries a ONE YEAR/ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND MILE (1 yr/100,000 mile) Warranty.
