Optimize the line pressure and performance of the 68RFE Transmission in your 2007.5-2018 Dodge 6.7L Cummins with the ATS 6019002326 Co-Pilot LITE Transmission Controller. This line pressure controller features a 24-pin plug and play connection. The Co-Pilot commands line pressure and internal clutch timing within the transmission to improve the reliability and the amount of power the 68-RFE transmission.
This is more than just a "pressure riser" box like other transmission pressure boxes on the market. The Co-Pilot is a full closed loop computer that monitors the actual line pressure of the transmission and drives the EPC solenoid to the desired line pressure based on actual engine load. As the engine produces power the line pressure of the transmission is increased far above stock to provide additional clamping force to the clutch packs. This increased line pressure increases the transmissions clutch clamping force during the shift as well as after the shift increasing the clutch capacity dramatically. The Dynamic and Static holding capacity of the clutch packs allows the transmission to shift firmer, last much longer and hold increased power levels.
The Co-Pilot has 4 settings that allow the user to adjust the max line pressure that is required to produce the best shift quality. The Down arrow key is the lowest setting which is just a little firmer than stock, the pressure and shift quality goes up as you click the up arrow key. Setting 4 or all the way up provides the maximum pressure and the firmest shift. Stock engines or mildly modified engines work well at the lowest setting, this setting will increase the reliability of your transmission while reducing clutch slip during the shift period. Engines that are heavily modified will require setting 3 or 4, Turbo Charger, Power Module/Programmers, etc.
These engines require a much different pressure curve to better match the engines aggressive torque curve, setting 3 and 4 of the Co-Pilot are specially designed for these applications. The Co-Pilot will remember the last setting that was selected so you do not have to change the setting on the box between key cycles. The Co-Pilot is all Plug-N-Play so install is easy. All install instructions and hardware are provided in the kit making this an easy install typically taking less than an hour.

The ATS Co-Pilot transmission computer has many features that increase transmission reliability and performance. The Co-Pilot can be used on a stock factory 68-RFE transmissions or any aftermarket transmission although the ATS Co-Pilot has been specifically designed for use with the ATS transmission package. In situations where the vehicle owner requires transmission holding ability above approximately 400HP the addition of the ATS Transmission and Five Star torque converter will be required due to the fact that the factory transmission and converter have mechanical and hydraulic limitations. Regardless of the transmission that the Co-Pilot is installed on all functionality will be present after the Co-Pilot is installed. The Co-Pilot also has a feature built into it that totally eliminates the problematic "low-sprag or low-roller clutch" blow up syndrome that is common with the 68-RFE transmission Operation of the 68-RFE Co-Pilot:The ATS Co-Pilot commands the line pressure and internal clutch timing within the transmission to vastly improve the reliability of the 68-RFE 6-speed transmission. The ATS Co-Pilot has 4 driving settings; stock mode and 3 performance modes. To switch between these four modes, you simply use the UP and DOWN arrow keys on the front panel. Switching between driving modes can be done while driving. The ATS 68RFE Co-Pilot Lock-Up version will also control the torque converter clutch and lock it sooner than stock. This allows more power to the ground, at a lower speed, while increasing the responsiveness of the vehicle. Lockup also occurs when decelerating in all modes, and will unlock around 26 MPH in most scenarios.Setting 1This mode keeps the torque convertor 'loose' to allow big turbo chargers to spool easier, but still locks the torque converter under high power boost conditions. This will allow the torque converter clutch to unlock at speeds as high as 65 MPH. The unlock is based on how much boost pressure and how much change there is in the APPS/TPS percentage.
