Description
The DTech DT590006 Valve Cover Gasket is a direct replacement for the OE gasket in your 2003-2005 Dodge 5.9L Diesel. Built to meet or exceed OE standards, this kit includes one valve cover gasket, six retaining screw o-rings and the oil filler cap seal ring.

Service Tip: Replacement of a molded rubber valve cover gasket is recommended whenever there is visible physical damage or the sealing bead height has decreased by 5% or more. Installing new valve cover gaskets and related seal rings help insure a leak free valve cover installation.

I wouldn’t recommend to my worst enemy! The gasket does stay in the valve cover so every time you go to install the valve cover it falls out! Nothing more frustrating after working on your truck for hours to end up fighting a valve cover gasket towards the end of a job.
