The Firestone Ride-Rite 2071 Air Bag Helper Springs for your 1989-2002 Dodge & 1994-2004 Ford F-250/350 will provide load support through the use of air pressure that can be adjusted for changing loads. Mounting between the frame and suspension of your truck, these Air Bag Helper Springs will enhance ride characteristics by reducing inter-leaf friction. The easy-to-adjust bags feature individual inflation valves that allow for separate side-to-side or front to rear adjustment, these will keep your truck level when carrying off-center loads. These heavy-duty convoluted air springs will handle all leveling needs with load carrying capacities between 3,200-5,000 lbs per set. Each air spring is pressure tested before leaving the factory. The Firestone 2071 Ride-Rite kit includes everything you need for installation, including hardware, brackets, air springs, air line, and separate valves for manual inflation.

How does Ride-Rite technology work?
The Firestone 2071 Ride-Rite air springs (commonly called Ride-Rite air springs) install between your pickup truck's suspension and frame. They rely on a pair of convoluted air springs that can be individually adjusted to accommodate ever-changing loads. Inflate or deflate your air springs and see how they improve your ride by absorbing road shock and decreasing interleaf friction. It'll feel like you're riding on a cushion of air (because you are). Beyond ride comfort, Ride-Rite 2071 air springs work to heighten your safety on the road. They help level the pickup truck to promote even tire wear, level headlight beams, and support responsive handling.
Firestone air springs can also help save other parts from premature wear and lackluster performance. Ride-Rite air helper springs prevent leaf springs from irreversible sagging under constant load and lessen your chances of bottoming out by softening contact between the frame and axle.

Ez install if you have the right tools. Passenger side can be tight if your running a 5in exhaust. I had xdp order the bags for use with a goose hitch. Best price online by far!

Firestone Ride-Rite does not offer a kit that doesn't require drilling for this application.
If I got these helpers how much more weight can I put in my bed? I have a dump bed insert in my 99 powerstroke and need more weight capacity.
