Firestone 2613 Ride Rite Air Bag Helper Springs

Good product and fairly easy install. My only complaint so far is that the 3/4 nuts included were the wrong thread so don’t force them on they could damage the threads.

Installed on my 2019 GMC Sierra 2500 Diesel. I wanted a way to level up truck and not cause a bad ride when towing my 13,000 pound toy trailer. I have tried overload springs in the past and I read all the reviews about the Timbren pros and cons verses air springs. I decided I wanted to have control over my ride and was not concerned about the extra maintenance that air springs require (checking air pressure). I have had the air bags on for about a week now and there has been zero loss in air pressure. Ride Comfort at minimum setting and no load has not been altered. Leveling up my fully loaded trailer plus load in the bed of the truck is really great. Before I was sagging down on the overload spring. I do have to say that the instructions for the installation could be enhanced and that by trial and error the 1.5 hour estimate for install turned into about 6 hours. To be fair I did this all on the ground without using a jack and I have weakness from my cancer treatment. I removed the spare and had plenty of room using my creeper to do the install. I will say that if you install this kit that that top bracket is easily installed if you use the air bag with a little bit air pressure to hold the bracket against the bump stop while tightening it up.
