Description
The Fleece FPE-34783 Auxiliary Fuel Filter Kit allows you to add a filtration system between the lift pump and high-pressure pump on your 2003-2018 Dodge Ram 5.9L/6.7L Diesel. Included in this kit is a Donaldson 3-micron fuel filter and water separator (Donaldson P/N P553207), Filter base with integral mounting, Distribution filter block/filter coupler, Push Lock hose with all necessary AN and barb fittings, and CP3 Feed fittings for 5.9L and 6.7L.

Easy to install, but if you’re going to install on a stock fuel pump, you need FPE-QUCON-OE-38 for it to work. You will not need FPE-QUCON-OE-38, if you install the fleece lift pump.

So, I had some fuel leaks. I decided to go with this filter system instead of fixing the old one. I first installed the filter delete and then installed the filter, onto the handy dandy bracket. I took my sweet time installing it. It took me two days working and sipping on coffee. I'd say it requires intermediate skills to install. it makes the engine bay look much cleaner. The nice styling of the filter mount is nice. The nicely machined and finished filter delete is of course hidden by the filter. I like the idea that I'm providing cleaner fuel to the high pressure pump and injectors. My one complaint is that the bolts provided are the incorrect pitch for the filter mount.
