I had a large oil leak on the front of my engine and had to replace my front crank seal on my 2002 dodge. While I was in there, I noticed some rubber missing from the factory damper, so the choice was easy for me. I went with the fluidampr product because I've been impressed with the results on my other two 24v engines (Both 24v p-pump swapped engines). This product gives the engine a smoother idle, less chatter and I really beleive this product is much superior, relative to the factory damper. Every Cummins powered truck I own from here on out will have one of these installed, regardless if the factory damper is still serviceable or not.

I installed the fluidampr on my 02 vp44 cummins and I never realized how smooth it could be. From inside the cab you can hardly feel any vibration. Excellent product! It was easy to install with the ARP bolts and made an instant difference
