Fluidampr Performance Diesel Series Damper 960311

The package comes with everything needed to swap the OEM harmonic balancer with it. For a cleaner install, I opened up the OEM harness where the tach sensor wiring came out of and moved it back a few inches so that I was able to relocate the sensor using the hardware kit provided without needing to cut and extend the wiring. Now my '98 12v with the auto tranny can idle a bit lower than it used to (it used to die in gear if I set idle below 900 rpms), runs quite a bit smoother through the whole rpm range, and revs down to idle slower when revving it in neutral. It's not cheap, but it's worth every penny!

This review doesn't reflect XDP. All they did was ship it to me. But I Received this product packaged by the manufacturer. Removed and started installing the new bracket for the crank sensor, cut and extended wires and removed old damper, took the new fluidampr out of the plastic and found half the paint missing off the front face. At this point I'm too far in to install the old one so I finish the repair because I need my truck for work. Contact fluidampr rep and he said he can offer me a replacement or give me a discount on a future purchase. But can't just give me a discount on the flawed product I received and sent pictures of. So instead of doing the job all over again I will just take it on the chin and have a flawed fluidampr on my truck that's going to start rusting. XDP isn't at fault in any way, just letting people know this company won't go out of their way to help a customer who just spent $700 on a vibration damper. I'll never do business with or recommend fluidampr to anyone.
