Full Send Diesel FSD-14-B Braided Replacement Top Heater Hose

Not a worthwhile replacement over the rubber hose that’s already there. It looks nice and I’m sure the braided hose will last much longer than the regular rubber one, but there’s still the rubber hose coming through the firewall right off the heater core, so it doesn’t get rid of the full section of rubber hose. I found it was very difficult to tighten down with a lack of room for wrenches, especially by the valve cover. No room what-so-ever for a wrench to fit and you’d be better off tightening it with the valve cover and rocker box removed. That said, I was able to use a hammer and punch and get it tight enough to where I felt it would be safe to run.

Ordered to replace my heater hose that split, this hose does not work if your emissions intact. The NPT x AN riser that threads into the block is not tall enough for the hose to clear the EGR cooler. It also doesn’t replace the heater hose from the firewall to the block as advertised, you need about 3” of heater hose to tie into the firewall.
