The GM 12637647 Replacement Driver Side Exhaust Manifold is a genuine GM replacement for the cracked or leaking manifold in your 2001-2016 GM 6.6L Duramax. A leaking exhaust manifold will cause a loss of power by not letting the turbo spool to its complete potential. This manifold will restore the spool-up, and throttle response, and restore power that was lost due to the leak. This GM OE part is constructed to the same high-quality standards as your factory exhaust manifold. Gasket not included.

Broke a bolt in mine doing headgaskets, welded 6 nuts to try and remove broken piece to no avail...

If you dont want to spend an extra $70 for the BD mnifold just cause it has a pyro port then this is the way to go. Hardest part is getting the up pipe bolts out and could of had it all said and done in a couple hours but sense I had to (unsuccessfuly) attempt to extract a broken glow plug took me a little longer. Good factory upgrade.

Does this have a hole for an EGT probe like the bd manifold or would I need to drill and tap it for one still?

Nope. This product is an OE Factory Replacement so it would not come with any holes pre-drilled for an aftermarket pyro probe. It would be up to the end user to drill and install one.
