Description
The GM 20970916 Battery Tray is an OE GM part that was originally intended for use on Van applications where the battery is frame mounted. Many pickup enthusiasts have found the need to remove the passenger side battery due to space issues with larger compound turbocharger setups. This mount allows the battery to be mounted on the frame.

What can I say. It’s genuine GM parts of course it’s going to work perfectly. I used these to mount batteries on the frame of my LMM swapped 1976 C30
You’ll need the plastic hold down and a bolt but that’s not a big deal.

the item i purchased was a extra battery tray for a GMC van that mounts to the frame. the item came with no directions as to where on the frame it was designed to fit and no bolts or nuts. also there should be the bracket that holds the battery down.
