The Grand Rock V-Band Clamp VB-384G is a replacement for the factory clamp your 2001-2007 GM 6.6L Duramax. This clamp joins the bottom of your downpipe, to the front-pipe in your exhaust system. The factory clamp is exposed to extreme conditions from constant heat cycles, and being exposed to the elements that can often lead to damage or corrosion. This high-quality replacement costs much less than a new clamp at the dealer, and will save you a lot of time and hassle when installing a new exhaust system, or downpipe.

It was too thick to use on my LBZ, it would rub against the block. I tried adjusting many times with no luck, stock clamp is a bit thinner and had to reuse. Quality of clamp is great 👍

Quality is decent enough and gets the job done, though I would not recommend. I installed the clamp and tightened down the nut, but when I went to loosen the nut it started binding. I'm afraid if I continue it will shear the t-bolt or strip the nut/threads. For now it stays on until I receive my replacement Genuine GM clamp. Also, the picture shows a captured t-bolt, the one I received is not captured. It had a tendency to fall out when installing which made install very tedious. In addition, because the t-bolt is not captured there is a lack of support from what would normally retain the t-bolt; the "hooks" it pulls against on mine started to warp when I was snugging it up.
