got this thing a couple months ago. programmed my 02 5.9 cummins with it. didnt do anything to my mileage, (around 18mpg stock) until i installed a cold air intake and banks 4'' turbo back exaust. now it gets around 18mpg and 14.5mpg without it.... going back to stock elbow and downpipe. (your 2nd gen. cummins needs that back pressure behind the turbo. trust me. hope this helps
