Description
The Longhorn Fab 201045-72-SG Ultimate Series Traction Bars are built to stand up to the most extreme 2003-2019 Dodge Ram 2500/3500 applications. The factory U-bolts are not strong enough to handle the high torque and power of your modified Diesel. This is why the Longhorn Fab Traction Bar Kit flips the U-bolts and gives you a massive bottom axle plate. This allows you to increase strength of the rear end and add traction bars at the same time.
Nearly every diesel has a wheel hop issue right off of the factory floor. Even under stock power levels this wheel hopping can cause extremely costly repairs, including broken driveshafts, broken axle pinion yokes, premature u-joint failure and wearing of suspension components. On top of these issues anytime the wheel hops, it is not touching the pavement. If it is not touching the pavement, youre not getting traction!
Longhorn Fab's Ultimate Series Traction Bars are insanely strong and feature 2" OD steel bars that are twice the thickness of standard traction bars. Longhorn Fab is so confident in their Traction Bars and Brackets that they back them with a lifetime warranty against bending and breaking, no matter the conditions, no matter the situation, no matter the horsepower rating. Front brackets are a through-bolt design. Includes traction bars and standard grade rod ends, 2 rear brackets, 2 front brackets, U-bolts, mounting hardware, and through bolts.

The quality of the product is great however I have a 2018 Ram 3500 slt short bed. This product isn't just bolt up and go as it says installs with simple hand tools! Other than being sent 16” U-bolts instead of the 10.5” I put in the request box. My main issue is I had to cut and Refabricate 14” of the crossmember and mount that holds the Def tank and exhaust. Tons of extra work for an already expensive product.

Is this for lifted trucks? If so, how tall of a lift is is capable of? My current truck has a 5-6 inch lift on it, if i installed a bigger lift, such as an 8”, could I use these? Or would a bigger lift also cost another set of track bars?
