The Longhorn Fab 201045-86-HS Ultimate Series Hot Street Traction Bars are built to stand up to the most extreme diesel applications. The factory u-bolts are not strong enough to handle the high torque and power of your modified truck. This is why the Longhorn Fab Traction Bar Kit flips the u-bolts and gives you a massive bottom axle plate. This allows you to increase strength of the rear end and add traction bars at the same time.
Nearly every diesel has a wheel hop issue right off of the factory floor. Even under stock power levels this wheel hopping can cause extremely costly repairs, including broken driveshafts, broken axle pinion yokes, premature u-joint failure and wearing of suspension components. On top of these issues anytime the wheel hops, it is not touching the pavement. If it is not touching the pavement, you're not getting traction!
Longhorn Fab's Ultimate Series Traction Bars are insanely strong and feature 2" OD steel bars that are twice the thickness of standard traction bars. Available exclusively from Longhorn Fab Shop, the Hot Street Rod Ends are specially designed for the budget conscience racer and sled puller that wants an upgraded component compared to the standard rod ends on the market. This rod end provides you with a smoother operation, along with less noise and more strength.
Longhorn Fab Traction Bars are built to handle the highest horsepower trucks in the nation. Longhorn Fab is so confident in their Traction Bars and Brackets that they back them with a lifetime warranty against bending and breaking, no matter the conditions, no matter the situation, no matter the horsepower rating. Front brackets are a through-bolt design. Includes traction bars and hot street rod ends, 2 rear brackets, 2 front brackets, u-bolts, mounting hardware, and through bolts.
