The MBRP Armor Lite 4" Cat-Back Exhaust System S6000P will help you get the most out of your stock or modified GM 6.6L Duramax LB7/LLY. Built from aluminized heavy-duty steel, these Armor Lite exhaust systems (formerly known as the Performance Series exhaust systems) offer a value price without compromising on the build quality. The seams can be a major point of rust through with some budget systems, this fully sealed tubing can add years to your system.
Built to Perform
You count on your tow rig to haul all of your gear to where you want it. With the MBRP performance exhaust, you can make that happen with up to 18 HP more horsepower and 28 ft/lb more torque. Give your truck more pulling power and greatly improved throttle response with an MBRP diesel exhaust system. This exhaust system is much more efficient than your stock system and will help you get the most out of your modifications.
Minimize Backpressure
Getting more out of your diesel engine means you have to give it lots of cool, clean air. The fastest way that you can get fresh air in is to get the exhaust air out. From the spiral louvered high flow muffler to the fully mandrel bent tubing to minimal bend degree angles, your MBRP performance system gets the exhaust out quickly. Drop exhaust gas temperature by up to 200ºF and set the stage for all the performance modifications you want. An MBRP performance exhaust system is the starting point to getting more from cold air intakes, programmers, modules, tuners, and turbochargers.

MBRP systems are as much fun to install as to drive with on your truck. Engineered as a bolt-on, no-weld design, installing this exhaust system on your truck is a no-hassle project. The cat back exhaust was alright. The hangers are a pain in the a**… besides the time it took to get in correctly, it sounds better and looks nice.
Directions werent great and i didnt like how i had to cut down a pipe to make the kit fit my extended cab shortbed.
I dont have time for returns and hastle so i made it work.
Also, i swear i was told i would be sent an optional “muffler delete” pipe. That did not send. I have emailed them and am awaiting a reply.
Fast shipping and great customer service though! XDP is great. This is just not the best MRBP product made for what it could be.

I had an mbrp system on my powerstroke and loved it so I got this for my duramax. Mbrp needs to put more packing in their boxes because every pipe was bent where they slipped together. I spent a solid hour or more making them round so they fit together. Also one of the 4" hangar clamps did not fit where it was supposed to so there was some Fabrication with my mig welder to make it work. 1/10 will not buy this or anything from mbrp again.

Very happy with with Xtreme Diesel. They are great! Fast delivery and very helpful. The one star is for MBRP. The shipped the wrong slip joint and i had to MacGyver the install. Called MBRP, two weeks until they can ship new part. Instructions are weak at best. Youtube helped. If you buy MBRP, make sure you check everything befor you remove your old system and start your install.
