The muffler is NOT quite as advertised, it is advertised if quite yet the moan / drone / loudness in the cab is much much more than the advertisement states.

MBRP Quiet Tone 30" Muffler. I have no idea why its called "quiet tone muffler". 10 being straight pipe loud and 1 being all you hear is the engine, I would give this a 7. I put this on a 14 Cummins with 4" exhaust. I got this muffler because I wanted to get rid of the drone in the cab. When I received the muffler I was assured that it would get rid of the drone. Well, it didn't. It did cut some of the noise down. But by no means is this a quiet muffler. All it is, is one giant glass pack. At 1,500 rpm I still have a good amount of drone in the cab. Drives me nuts! All you hear is exhaust. I gave this a 3 out of 5 stars because of fast shipping and a strong quality product. Don't get me wrong, this muffler is very nice but should not be called quiet tone. Last, WAY over priced! This is a $75-muffler. Not a $140- muffler. Way over rated product!

Installed on a duramax that has a 4” mbrp exhaust system with a blown out steel pack. Not much quieter than the steel pack has more of a rumble now.
