The Best Systems Start With the Best Materials
Built from 16 gauge T409 stainless steel our SLM Series performance exhaust systems offer a value price without compromising on the quality built into every component. Featuring a two-piece tail we replaced the muffler with an MBRP muffler delete pipe to provide you with the ultimate in free flow exhaust.Constructed to the same specifications as our top of the line Pro Series we back this line with a 5 Year Warranty.

Built to Perform
You count on your truck to tow all of your gear to where you want it. With your MBRPinc performance exhaust you can make that happen with up to 18 HP more horsepower and 28 ft/lb more torque. Give your truck more pulling power and much improved throttle response with an MBRPinc diesel exhaust system. Our systems are so much more efficient, it will be easy to see what your truck can really do.

Minimize Backpressure
The secret to getting more out of your diesel engine is to give it lots of cool, clean air. The only way that you can get fresh air in is to get the hot air out. From the spiral louvered high flow muffler to the fully mandrel bent tubing to minimal bend degree angles, your MBRPinc performance system gets exhaust out fast. Drop exhaust gas temperature by up to 200ºF and set the stage for all the performance you want. An MBRPinc performance exhaust system is the starting point to getting the most from cold air intakes, programmers, modules and downloaders."

Easy Installation
MBRPinc systems are as much fun to install as to drive with on your truck. Bolt-on, no weld design makes installing this on your truck a no hassle one and a half to two hour project. Everything is direct fit to the OEM hangers and you get all the clamps and parts you will need, all in one box, no matter what configuration of truck you have.

Sound & Style

Performance is one thing but at MBRP we believe that appearance and sound is just as important. Every MBRP performance exhaust system has been specifically tuned to get the optimal sound from your pickup. Sounds great and dropped egts. As for the ricer sound I don't here that at all he must have in stalled the exhaust leaning on cross member. To give it that rattle sound. If you follow the easy directions you will be very happy as I am.
All buttoned up, Not bad....*UPDATE*

Well, I finally have the system all buttoned up and finished, The only thing I really didn't like about it was when you really romped on it the system would buzz like crazy (Think ricer but deeper, or maybe the sound of the pipes loose and rattling) otherwise I liked how it sounded all by itself, In fact with no tip it even kinda looked stock (Sleeper... :P) only give a way would be the fact that you'd think you had a Leer Jet parked in your diveway by the sound of it, but ehh, I though it was cool and I liked it. I ended up getting a M1004S Muffler (Quite-Tone) and now the buzz is gone, really haven't had the chance to hear it sit idle yet but like I titled my previous Post "So Far So Good", I did take a sec to listen to see if the whistle was still there sitting idle and I did hear it, however, I don't think it was as prominent. Overall, If I was to do this again knowing what I do now, I'd probably go for the XP Series M6212409 (4inch)/S6224409 (5inch) unless I find out that the muffler in that kit isn't the same as what I have, Then I'd try and find out if there is a way to upgrade the muffler in the kit before ordering. Come to think of it, I don't think it is, But I may be wrong. I'd also try and befriend someone who has a lift that can lift the truck and/or make sure the ground you going to be laying on is smooth and SPOTLESS, That sand gets annoying fast. If you can I'd suggest you connect the downpipe/midpipe off the truck then install and replace the trans crossmember when your done. Now I have an extra length of 4" pipe laying around (muffler delete pipe) that I don't know what I'm gonna do with. FYI: It's kind of a pain to switch the pipes out after you have the system installed, but it is doable, I did. I also now have to figure out how I can get rid of all the oily scuff marks from my body (hands, Knees, arms, etc) from when I did the install.
So far so good, lets see how it sounds

Well its currently 330am and I just got out of the shower after literally rolling all over the ground under my truck in the street for 4.5 hours trying to install this. For the most part it is a fairly easy install, the 2 hardest parts, in order, are installing the 3.5" clamp on the downpipe to the midpipe (I still have yet to get that clamp completely tight, I'll probably try my impact tomorrow if I can get it up in that tight space) and second is removing the stock exhaust from the rubber hangers. Now I can't wait to start the truck and hear what it sounds like on account of it being so late I haven't been able to yet. Maybe I'll try and update this review after I get everything all sorted out and finished up.
