I bought this as an upgrade to my factory alternator. Less than a year after installing it, it failed. MG agreed to replace it under warranty but they received it almost a month ago and I still don't have a replacement. Of course I had to buy an alternator from the auto parts store to get my daily driver back on the road. So, I'm out the $ for the mean green, the $ for the replacement, the $ for the core since I had to send it to MG and I have no improvement in performance at all.
